Food Pantry
Ministers to people inside and outside of the family of God.  We offer more than a box of food each week.  We offer compassion, and respect to people in need.  We seek to develop caring relationships with those God brings to us; checking in with them weekly and praying for the challenges they face. We treat them with the love and respect that Christ calls us to have for others.
Please call the church if the Food Pantry can serve you.

Grace Care Fund
Is a benevolence fund of Grace Church.  It's purpose is to share Christ's love by assisting with short-term financial needs of church attenders and people in the local community.  Revenue is received from designated donations to Grace Church.  Requests for assistance come through pastors, the church office (call 303.772.5685) or directly from those with a need.  Please email :gracecare@gracelongmont.org .  Requesters are contacted by a GCF team member to gain a better understanding of the situation. Respect and confidential are observed.  The team determines if financial assistance is in the best interest of the requester.
Grief Share
Offers help and encouragement after the death of a loved one. We offer a biblically based 13-week session including videos and workbook to guide you through your grief and healing.  We also provide time and opportunity to share your grief with others who are experiencing grief.  You are welcome to begin attending our Grief Share group at any point, as the lessons are self-contained and can be made up.  For more information and to register for this class go here:   GriefShare.org/groups/138542
Help Hands
Helping Hands
We want to connect those in the congregation who are willing to serve and have skills (e.g. handyman services, gardening, computer skills, etc., or just the willingness to help with a ride.  Virtually anything in which someone has a talent they are willing to share) with those that have these needs. If you are willing to volunteer and share your skills, please click here to sign up

Have a need?  Please let us know and we'll work to connect you with someone who can help.   If you would like assistance

Hospitality Team
The team is everywhere you look! This team cares for the church body in many tangible ways.
Community-building events:   Hospitality is at the center of all community-building events at Grace Church.  It's fun to work together to pass the pizza, sandwiches, soup, cookies, and desserts.  Organizing a great potluck or grilling up some burgers allows our eager hearts to fellowship.
Life events:   The team will help with funerals to say goodbye to a loved one or coordinate a wedding. The care component of the Hospitality Team finds ways to reach out to shut-ins by organizing  visits with a sweet little gift and prayer.  They send hundreds of cards to encourage, celebrate and give heartfelt words of sympathy.  Meals are organized and provided when a family has a baby or hit a bump in the road.
Church Rhythm:  Helping with baptisms and monthly Communion is something that Hospitality is honored to do.  The Sunday morning coffee team gets up a little earlier and makes some tasty brew so you can hang out and catch up with your church family on Sunday mornings.
Season caring:  This team enjoys coming together to make Valentines & Christmas bags. These are delivered to folks that need a little extra encouragement and would enjoy a personal visit.  Hospitality also adds beautiful decorations to the sanctuary, decorates the church to celebrate the comping of Christ, and keeps the lobby looking fresh and inviting.

Snow Angels
A winter storm can create challenges for those who are not physically strong. For some, it is a barrier to keeping a doctor's appointment. For others who may have balance issues, it can be hazardous to work on the slippery pavement. It can even create stress when someone seeks to honor honor neighborhood requirements to clear sidewalks after a storm when they lack the strength and freedom of movement to perform such tasks.  Snow Angels volunteer to help church members who cannot shovel their own walkways and driveways after a snowfall. All you need to participate in this ministry is a shovel or snow blower, some strength, and the willingness to help others meet this need.
Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministers are members of our congregation who listen, care, encourage and provide emotional and spiritual support to people who are facing a crisis of going through tough times.  The care given is confidential, free, and helpful.  If you are experiencing a trial such as grief, loneliness, divorce, health issues, job loss or other challenges we don't want you to walk through this alone.
